INEC CALLS FOR COLLECTION OF OVER 360, 000 UNCLAIMED PVCs IN OSUN

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osun State, has disclosed that more than 360,794 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are yet to be collected across the state.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Commission, under the leadership of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Mutiu Agboke, called on all eligible voters who have previously registered but are yet to collect their cards to take advantage of the ongoing exercise.

According to the statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Musa Olurode, PVCs are available for collection at the 30 INEC local government offices as well as the Area Office in Modakeke, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

The Commission also reminded citizens to avoid multiple registrations and encouraged continuous participation in the electoral process.

“Let us continue to register our names and we must avoid multiple registration at all times. God bless the people of Osun State,” the statement read in part.
