ANTHONY JOSHUA’S DUBAI DINNER GATECRASHED BY DRUG TESTERS

Anthony Joshua’s dinner with promoter Eddie Hearn took an unforeseen turn on Thursday evening when representatives from the UK Anti-Doping Agency (UKAD) arrived unexpectedly to conduct a test.
The heavyweight sensation and his promoter were enjoying a meal at an upscale restaurant in Dubai, reportedly discussing Joshua’s upcoming fight, when the officials interrupted their evening.
Hearn posted footage of the occurrence on social media, humorously captioning it: Most tested fighter of all time. Hasn’t boxed for a year. Out for dinner in Dubai and UKAD rock up.”

In the video, Hearn can be heard stating: “Just want to say, unbelievable scenes. UKAD turn up.” The camera then shifts to Joshua, who smiles widely, flexes his arm, and jestingly remarks: “Ed, they must have seen my chin-ups.”
As the official anti-doping partner of the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC), UKAD possesses the authority to test any licensed boxer at any moment. The process may involve urine, venous blood, or dried blood spot samples, and fighters are required to declare their travel plans when they go abroad.
Joshua, who has not competed since experiencing a knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois last September, remains within the testing pool as he prepares for his forthcoming bout.
