KATSINA AGENCY MD DIES IN CAR CRASH, GOVERNOR MOURNS

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Radda, has expressed profound grief over the sudden death of Tukur Tingilin, Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board.
Tingilin died on Thursday following an auto accident.
In a condolence message issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula, the governor described the loss as devastating, especially at a time when the administration was ramping up efforts to improve water supply across the state.
Radda praised the late Water Board chief for his dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service.
The statement read, “Governor Radda described the death as a tragic shock, noting that Engr. Tingilin’s tenure as Managing Director of the State Water Board was defined by selfless service to the people, right up to his final moments.
“Under his leadership, initiatives to provide clean water to every household in Katsina were significantly strengthened and sustained.
“The Governor finds comfort in knowing that Engr. Tingilin passed away as a devout Muslim during the holy month of Ramadan.”
“On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, Governor Radda extends heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Managing Director and to the residents of Malumfashi Local Government Area. He prayed to Allah to grant them strength and fortitude to endure this immense loss.”
