Nasarawa Amazons chairperson Hajiya Hussaina Suleiman has expressed appreciation to the club’s supporters for their continued backing of the team.
The Lafia-based side have accumulated 19 points from 10 matches and currently occupy second place in Group B.
The top three teams in the group will qualify for the Super Six playoff at the end of the regular season.
Nasarawa Amazons will face Dannaz Ladies in their next league fixture on Wednesday in Lafia.
Suleiman expressed confidence in the team’s prospects ahead of the match.
“Thank God Almighty for His continued support. We appreciate everyone who has stood behind the team, and we remain confident of securing a positive result against Dannaz Ladies,” Suleiman told the Nasarawa Amazons media team.
