AIYEDATIWA HAILS APC CONVENTION, CONGRATULATES TINUBU, PARTY LEADERS

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the successful outcome of the party’s National Convention held in Abuja.

Aiyedatiwa, who led delegates from Ondo State to the convention, described the exercise as peaceful, orderly, and well-organised, noting that the emergence of national officers reflected strong internal cohesion within the ruling party.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor also congratulated the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC), who were returned unopposed.

“The orderly process, spirit of unity and reaffirmation of shared ideals attest to the maturity of our party and the strength of its internal democracy,” the statement quoted the governor as saying.

He further commended party stakeholders, including members of the convention planning committee and delegates, for their discipline and commitment throughout the exercise.

Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation and expanding development initiatives across Ondo State, while also applauding the conduct of delegates from the state during the convention.
