A member of the National Assembly representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sarafadeen Ali, has paid a courtesy visit to Bola Tinubu in Lagos State.

The meeting was held on Monday evening at the President’s private residence in Ikoyi.

While details of their discussion were not made public, reports from different sources indicate that Alli is being considered as a consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.

The senator, alongside two other High Chiefs, Bolaji Adewoyin and Kola Babalola, was also reportedly elevated to the status of crown-wearing Obas by the Oyo State Government in Ibadanland.

His visit forms part of a series of high-level political engagements by the President, who is currently in Lagos for the Easter break.

Photos from the meeting, which have circulated on social media, show a cordial interaction between the senator and the President at the Ikoyi residence.
