HAMZAT URGES NIGERIANS TO CHAMPION TINUBU’S ACHIEVEMENTS, CALLS FOR GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has called on Nigerians to be active advocates of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s achievements, emphasising the need to take the message beyond immediate circles and into communities across the country.
Speaking today at the South West Zonal Walk, organised by the ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Group’ at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, the Deputy Governor stressed that it is important for citizens to deliberately share information about ongoing laudable efforts, as many people may not yet be fully aware of the President’s initiatives and reforms aimed at making Nigeria great.
In his words, “It is important for us all to be evangelists to spread his good works around in our communities, we must go out of bounds, and we must let people know, because a lot of people might not know what the President is doing.”
He therefore urged collective responsibility in communicating these efforts, reaffirming that informed citizens play a crucial role in building a stronger and more prosperous nation. Speaking further, Hamzat underscored that economic stability remains central to national progress, explaining that the President’s policies are focused on ensuring Nigeria’s financial sustainability.
According to him, “Money is important. So what the President is doing for us is to make sure that Nigeria is financially sustainable. Any nation that is not financially sustainable will collapse. We have seen it happen, and we don’t want that to happen. And now the President has made sure that our economy is stable, but it will take time, because Nigeria did not start last year. It did not start in 2023. Nigeria started a long time ago.”
While highlighting some of the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the Deputy Governor noted that the President has made sure that the policies of the country are stable, investors can be attracted, and the foreign exchange is stable.
He added that the positive impact of these reforms would soon be seen by the populace. He reiterated that today, a lot of the Nigerian students are going to universities, as a result of the student loan programme, which is working, adding that “Over millions have already benefited from our children. So we are building the future of our country, we must be vigilant, we must tell people what is going on,” he concluded.
In his goodwill message, the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, urged Nigerians to support the President’s re-election, noting that significant progress has been made. He expressed confidence in Tinubu’s continued ability to deliver effective leadership, so that together, Nigeria can become better for all.
“Again, support progress. Having identified what this particular administration has done, I urge you all to support him. You can see the sorts of progress that have been made, the achievements we have witnessed are not limited to a particular sector, and all of us are benefiting from it”, he added.
In his remarks, Chairman of Conference 57 and Lagos State Coordinator of the ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria’ Hon. Sesan Olowa, also called for strong support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his leadership as uniquely transformative in Nigeria’s contemporary history.
He emphasised that the Lagos State Local Government Chairmen support the initiative, as despite the prevailing economic challenges, the President has undertaken the difficult but necessary task of stabilising the economy, strengthening national security, and driving infrastructural development across the country.
According to him, “President Tinubu is definitely different. If you are a true student of history, and you know where Nigeria was coming from before President Tinubu became the President, you will know that this man has done a very tough job in stabilising the Nigerian economy, in stabilising Nigeria as a nation. There are so many things he has done, from the economy to security to infrastructure development to leadership. And this is why we believe he should come back for the second time to continue the good job that he has started.”
In his goodwill address, the Director General of the ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Group’, Hon. Ahmed Bala, noted that the group is a non-governmental organisation committed to promoting accurate information, public enlightenment, and constructive civic engagement, focusing on deepening public understanding of government policies, reforms, and achievements under the Global Agenda.
“In an era where misinformation can easily spread, the organisation is committed to bridging the information gap by providing verified facts and balanced insights. We enlighten Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora on the achievements and policy direction of our current administration under the able leadership of our gallant President, while fostering a more informed, engaged, and united citizenry,” he concluded.
