Hon. Sani Adamu Wakili, who represents the Minjibir/Ungogo Federal Constituency of Kano State, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a resignation letter dated April 30, 2026, and addressed to the party chairman in Zango Ward, Ungogo Local Government Area, Wakili stated that his decision takes immediate effect.
“I hereby formally resign my membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), effective Thursday, April 30, 2026.
“While it has been an honour to be part of the party, recent developments at the national level have made it difficult for me to continue participating and contributing meaningfully to its activities.
“As a representative of the people of Minjibir/Ungogo Federal Constituency, I remain committed to making sacrifices that will improve the lives of my constituents. My dedication to public service remains firm, regardless of the path I take.
“I appreciate the opportunity to have served within the party and wish it success in its future endeavours,” the letter stated.
