IBEDC CONFIRMS ABDUCTION OF TWO STAFF MEMBERS

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc (IBEDC) has confirmed the abduction of two of its staff members in the Ogun region.
The confirmation was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the company’s management and made available to The MEDIA in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on Wednesday, April 29, when two employees were kidnapped.
IBEDC expressed deep concern over the situation, noting that its thoughts are with the affected staff and their families during this difficult time.
The company said it is working closely with security agencies to ensure the safe return of the abducted workers and is also maintaining communication with their families to provide necessary support.
Due to the sensitive nature of the case and ongoing rescue efforts, IBEDC stated that it cannot disclose further details at this time. It added that updates will be provided as appropriate.
