Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior on Sunday joined an elite group of players including Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Raúl, Hugo Sánchez, Puskás, Pahino, and Alfredo Di Stéfano after his side’s LaLiga win over Espanyol.
The Brazilian international scored a brace to secure all three points for Los Blancos at the RCDE Stadium.
According to MadridXtra, Kylian Mbappé’s two goals in the same match mean he has now scored 20 or more goals in all competitions for five consecutive seasons for Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old joined Real Madrid from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018.
Players who have achieved 20-plus goals in at least five consecutive seasons for Real Madrid include Benzema, Ronaldo, Raúl, Sánchez, Puskás, Pahino, Di Stéfano, and Vinícius.
