Onyekuru, Dennis Hit Brace; Kalu Also Ends Goal Drought
Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru bagged a brace for Galatasaray who came from a goal down to beat Sivasspor 4-2 in a Turkish Super Lig clash on Sunday.
The goals took his tally to six in 15 league appearances this term.
Robinho gave Sivasspor the lead in the ninth minute before Eren Derdiyok equalised in the 20th minute.
Sofiane Feghouli put Galatasaray ahead in the 30th minute but 11 minutes later, Robinho restored parity.
He scored in the 51st minute before slotting home in the 60th minute.
The victory means Gala finish the first stanza in fifth place, a spot above Besiktas and six points adrift of pacesetters Istanbul Basaksehir.
Their next fixture of a Turkish Cup tie against Boluspor on January 15.
In Belgium, Emmanuel Dennis also hit a brace for Club Brugge in their 5-1 win over Royal Antwerp.
Dennis opened scoring for Club Brugge in the 21st minute and scored his second of the game in the 65th minute of the encounter.
In France, Samuel Kalu scored his second Ligue 1 goal for Bordeaux who were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Amiens.
Kalu shot his side into the lead with a header but Eddy Gnahore earned the visitors, Amiens a share of the spoil from the encounter.
In Spain, Kenneth Omeruo made his 10th straight La Liga start of the campaign for Leganes who drew 1-1 at home to Sevilla
