– It appears a relationship still exists between D’banj and international star Kanye West.
– Everyone assumed that the record deal the Koko master signed Kanye’s GOOD Music back in 2011 was over.
– But a new list announced by the label still shows D’banj’s name listed as one of the musicians signed to the label.Everyone is excited for Wizkid and Davido based on the fact that they have signed major deals with International record labels.
But before the names mentioned above even thought of international domination, there was a D’banj who had a deal with the Kanye West led Good Music label as far back as 2011. Even though the Koko master’s relationship with the international label did not work out well, we all expected that both parties would have ended the relationship but a new roster announcing artistes still signed to the label features D’banj’s name prominently.So for all those who thought it was over for D’banj, it might just be the beginning.
