BREAKING: INEC’S ADHOC STAFF PROTEST; REFUSE TO GO TO POLLING UNITS

Reports say INEC Adhoc staff at Ward C, St Peters pry school testing ground, Ikeja local government and Ward C Aganjuaka, Ojo local government are protesting and have refused to move to their various polling units.
Hotjist confirmed that the protesters are requesting their feeding allowance of #10,000 which other local governments have received be paid to them before they will proceed to polling centres.
Another report gathered by hotjist.com also confirmed that some of the protesters were given N5000 which they received and still refused to turn up at their polling units until their full payment is made available.
With this development, it is clear why INEC adhoc staff are yet to be seen in some areas and accreditation and voting are expected to start quite late.
As at the moment of filing this report, INEC officials are however yet to respond.
