A Prospective Corp Member has narrated how she and her colleagues managed to escape from being abducted by an alleged ritualist who disguised as a taxify driver.
The young lady who revealed that she hails from Edo State, recorded herself and shared the video on social media.
Narrating her ordeal, she explained that she had ordered for a taxy on Taxify App to pick her and her friends to Marina from Badore-Ajah road, but taken aback when a slim man appeared with a CRV jeep instead of a chubby driver with a corolla Toyota she saw on the App.
According to her the mysterious driver then opted to go offline and charge N5, 000, instead of using the Taxify App charging rate, which she said was supposed to be between N2, 600 and N3, 200. She said she decided to accept the guy’s offer and insisted they use the App.
However, at a point the lady went on, she observed there were too many mobile phones on his dashboard and then signaled her friends, after which she lied to him that they had to use the ATM.
‘Immediately we got down from the car with all of our bags, I accused the guy of being a ritualist. I tried to get the attention of some people around. He later drove off and turn at the next roundabout so as to avoid being followed’, the lady concluded.
