Ndidi nears £15million move to Leicester after undergoing medicals
Wilfred Ndidi proposed £15 million move to Leicester City is reportedly a done deal as the Nigeria international is presently in England undergoing a medical.
Ndidi was missing from Genk’s training ahead of their cup game against Eupen, and several sources in Belgium confirmed that, the 20 year old is in England for medicals with Leicester City.
The upcoming deal is subject to a work permit, it was also gathered, according to reports via British daily, Leicester Mercury.
Ndidi who features for Genk in the Belgian top league will join compatriot, Ahmed Musa and become Leicester City’s first signing of the new year if the move is completed.
It was also gathered that the Nigeria international has agreed a five- year contract with Leicester.
Ndidi will now join Leicester City on the 1st of January, when the transfer window reopens for registration of new players in Europe, to bring to three the number of Nigerian players to three at the club.
Super Eagles vice captain Musa and upcoming forward Layton Ndukwu are the other Nigerians at the club.
