ABATSECO CONGRATULATES HAMZAT ON APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY VICTORY, PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT FOR GENERAL ELECTION

The ABATSECO political support group has congratulated Dr. Obafemi Hamzat on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his victory at the party’s governorship primaries in Lagos State.

In a statement signed by the Convener of the group, Mrs. Monsurat Oluwa, the organisation described Hamzat’s victory as well-deserved, attributing his success to his loyalty to the APC, consistency, and proven record of service to Lagos State.

The group stated that delegates and party members across the state demonstrated confidence in Hamzat’s leadership capacity through their support during the primary election.

According to the statement, ABATSECO had supported Hamzat from the onset of the contest as a demonstration of its “unalloyed and undivided support,” adding that the group is fully prepared to mobilise support for the APC ahead of the governorship election.

The group further disclosed that it actively monitored the conduct of the APC primaries across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state to ensure the process remained orderly, transparent, and reflective of the wishes of party members.

ABATSECO also pledged to deploy its grassroots structure for voter sensitisation, campaign outreach, and mobilisation efforts in support of the APC candidate during the general election campaign.

The statement expressed confidence in Hamzat’s ability to lead Lagos State, assuring him of the group’s continued support throughout the electoral process.

“Lagos is in safe hands, and ABATSECO stands firmly with you all the way,” the statement added.
