AGN’S CHIEF PROTOCOL OFFICER JOY TAMBOU REVEALS STRATEGIC PLANS

Joy Tambou, the newly elected Chief Protocol Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has pledged to foster unity within the guild while advancing the welfare and global prominence of Nigerian actors.
Speaking at her swearing-in ceremony in Abuja, Tambou said she intends to collaborate with stakeholders to empower actors, aligning her efforts with the vision of AGN President Abubakar Yakub Sanusi.
She stated: “In line with our president’s vision, my focus is to promote unity within the Actors Guild of Nigeria, strengthen collaboration among actors nationwide, and support initiatives that enhance the welfare, professionalism, and global relevance of Nigerian actors.

“I am committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure every actor feels recognized, valued, and empowered to succeed within the guild. This administration stands for vision over division, service over status, and impact over noise.”
A seasoned actress and producer, Tambou has starred in films such as Tattered, The Other Side, Tangled Heart, Caught on the Net, Bliss of Kamara, Unexpected Love, Palmwine Tapper, Seven Daughters, and Expensive Bachelor. Other newly elected AGN executives include Vice Presidents Temidayo Amusa, Bartholomew Agu Ugo, and Nazareth Bako Jesse, among others.
