AKOD CONGRATULATES APC RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE, CALLS FOR UNITY AHEAD OF ELECTIONS

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has congratulated members of the newly inaugurated All Progressives Congress (APC) Reconciliation Committee, urging them to foster unity within the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The committee was inaugurated by the Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, at the party’s state secretariat in Acme, Lagos, to spearhead reconciliation efforts across the Lagos West and Lagos Central Senatorial Districts.
The inauguration featured the presentation of the committee’s terms of reference, while council chairmen pledged to provide the necessary support to ensure the panel successfully carries out its assignment.
Among those appointed to the committee are Barrister Babatunde Ogala (SAN), Chairman of the Lagos West I Senatorial District Reconciliation Committee and Apex Leader of the APC in Ikeja Local Government, and Barrister Ladigbolu, Secretary of the Lagos Central Senatorial District Reconciliation Committee and Assistant Legal Adviser of the Lagos APC.
Speaking after the inauguration, Dauda said the committee had been tasked with reconciling aggrieved party members following the ward, local government and state congresses, as well as the party’s primaries for the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and governorship elections.
He urged members of the committee to deploy their wealth of experience and leadership skills to strengthen party cohesion and ensure members remain united in preparation for future electoral contests.
Describing the initiative as timely and strategic, Dauda expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to deliver on its mandate.
“We are delighted that two of our own, Barrister Babatunde Ogala (SAN) and Barrister Ladigbolu, have been entrusted with this important responsibility. They have consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth of our party, and I am confident they will successfully unite members and strengthen the APC ahead of the elections,” he said.
