ARMED KIDNAPPERS ABDUCT WIFE AND SON OF YAURI APC LEADER IN KEBBI

Suspected bandits have reportedly kidnapped the wife and son of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Yusuf Alhasan.
The incident was made public by security analyst and conflict reporter Bakatsine in a post on X.
According to details shared by the analyst, the armed men invaded Alhasan’s residence in the Low-Cost area of Yauri at about midnight on Monday and abducted the two family members, taking them to an unknown destination.
As of the time of this report, neither security agencies nor the Kebbi State Government had issued an official statement on the abduction.
The incident has further raised concerns about the security situation in parts of Kebbi State, where kidnapping and other violent attacks continue to pose a threat to residents.
Efforts to ascertain the whereabouts of the victims were unsuccessful, while security authorities were yet to provide an update on any rescue operation or investigation into the incident.
