In the creative industry, the journey to stardom is different strokes for different folks. For some, it started as a small fire of passion, some just picked up the interest like a favourite crest and placed it on their chest till the right people noticed and boom! For Nollywood fast rising actress, Temitope Solaja, she made a mixture of all, gulped it down her throat and today, she is one of the new generators of actors aiming for the galaxy.

Temitope’s love for acting began at a very young age, in a world of her own. In front of a mirror and she could become any of her favourite character or actor. She did it so well until it became her passion. However, in 2008, while in school, Tai Solarin University, she took the bold step towards living her childhood dream. At the time, Afees Eniola came to her school for a movie shoot; “Bamitale”. When some of her mates were ‘famzing’ with the celebrities, she made sure she shared her dream with the people that mattered. She got signed on into the theatre group of Afees and guess what she immediately got a role in the movie being shot in her school.

Since then, she has featured in numerous titles, but the one that introduced her to the world was “Opolo”, written and produced by Shola Akintunde, popularly known as Lagata.

Temitope Solaja joined the league of producers in February 2015 when she  produced her first movie titled Aruga.

She had her primary school education at O&A Nursery and Primary School, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State, after which she proceeded for her Secondary School Education at Ikenne Community High School where she spent all her days in the boarding house. Upon the completion of her Senior Secondary School Certificate, she gained admission into Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu ode, also in Ogun State
