The Federal Government has announced the next phase of its 2024/2025 paramilitary recruitment exercise, which will involve physical screening and document verification for shortlisted candidates.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd), candidates who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to check their status via the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between Monday, June 15, and Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Applicants are required to log in using the application number generated during their initial registration to confirm if they have been shortlisted.

The statement added that successful candidates will be expected to upload their credentials and select preferred dates and venues for the physical screening exercise, while urging all applicants to strictly adhere to the instructions provided on the portal.
The Board reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge, warning applicants not to pay any individual, agent, or organisation claiming to facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, or final selection.
It further cautioned the public against fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and impostors, stressing that all official updates will be communicated only through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and authorised channels.
The Board assured that the exercise will be conducted in a transparent, credible, and merit-based manner, in line with established recruitment guidelines.
