A Nigerian woman based in Canada, Ezinne Nwanorue, has stirred debate on social media after disclosing a condition she set for her husband before agreeing to sponsor his move to the North American country.
Ezinne, who identifies herself as a prophetic intercessor, certified marriage counsellor and mother of three, said her husband must publicly pledge his fidelity before she proceeds with plans for his relocation.

She explained that the directive was divinely inspired and insisted that her husband, Franklin Nwanorue, record a video and share it on Facebook and WhatsApp declaring that he would remain faithful to her if granted a visa to Canada.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, she stated that her husband must publicly affirm that he would never be unfaithful to her after relocating.
Ezinne also said he must pledge to remain a devoted husband and responsible father to their children.
According to her, making the declaration is a prerequisite for his relocation, which she described as being in line with God’s instruction.
The post has since attracted widespread attention online, with social media users expressing mixed reactions to the unusual requirement.
