Chelsea are set to welcome back at least five key players for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth after the squad overcame several fitness concerns.
Moises Caicedo has returned from a calf injury after featuring in a behind-closed-doors friendly during the international break.
The midfielder has managed just 14 minutes of action for Chelsea so far this season, making his return a boost for the team ahead of the Bournemouth encounter.
Joao Pedro, Reece James and Cole Palmer have also resumed training after withdrawing from international duty due to fitness concerns.
Meanwhile, Marco Palestra could make his debut for the Blues after being sidelined with a thigh injury since pre-season.
However, Chelsea will remain without Jamie Gittens, who is expected to spend several more weeks out after sustaining an ankle injury while representing England’s Under-21 side.
