The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja has granted social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, bail in the sum of N20 million in her ongoing trial over an alleged N69.15 million fraud.
Justice Rahman Oshodi approved the bail application on Thursday, noting that the court had carefully considered the application while taking into account the nature of the allegations and the punishment prescribed by law.
Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge of alleged stealing and obtaining money by false pretences.
The anti-graft agency accused her of fraudulently obtaining N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025 under the guise of facilitating the lease of a property in the Lekki area of Lagos.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges.
During the hearing on her bail application, the court requested clarification on the whereabouts of her international passport.
Responding, defence counsel informed the court that the passport had been lost and presented an affidavit of loss alongside public notices announcing the missing document.
In his ruling, Justice Oshodi admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N20 million, with two responsible sureties in the same amount.
The court directed that each surety must provide either a three-year bank statement or proof of a fixed deposit worth at least N20 million.
The judge also ordered that Blessing CEO and her sureties be profiled through the Lagos State Judiciary’s Bail Information Management System (BIMS).
In addition, the court directed the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to enforce travel restrictions against the defendant pending the conclusion of the trial.
The case was subsequently adjourned until October 12, 2026, for the continuation of proceedings.
