EKITI: ANXIOUS DEPOSITORS STORM HERITAGE BANK, DEMAND REFUND
Read Time:27 Second
On Wednesday, customers of the now-closed Heritage Bank in the capital city of Ekiti State, Ado-Ekiti, gathered at the bank to demand their money be returned.
This happened after the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, revoked the bank’s operating license.
In order to help them retrieve their savings from the bank, the irate depositors vented their fury and demanded that labour leaders and Governor Biodun Oyebanji step in.
Some elderly customers slammed officials of the bank for not attending to them despite arriving early at the bank’s premises.
