Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has predicted that Arsenal will win the Premier League title following Manchester City’s points drop against Everton.
City were held to a 3-3 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night, a result that leaves Pep Guardiola’s side five points behind Arsenal, although they still have a game in hand.
Rooney believes Arsenal will beat West Ham this weekend and ultimately go on to claim the title.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: “No, I’m concerned for West Ham. I just think Arsenal are efficient and professional.
“I just think they will win every game. So obviously, with the result tonight, that means they will win the league.”
