FG BEGINS 2ND PHASE OF SUDAN EVACUATIONS TODAY

The Nigerian Embassy in Sudan is today commencing the second phase of evacuation of Nigerians in troubled Sudan.

In a statement on Saturday, the embassy said evacuated persons will first be transported via buses to neighbouring Egypt, before onward airlifting to Nigeria.
Interested persons were also told to bring along only one bag with them for the trip.
