FOUR KILLED, TWO INJURED IN OVERNIGHT ATTACK ON NIGER COMMUNITIES

The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the killing of four people by unidentified armed men in Godoro and Angwan-Bisala communities in Katako District of Rafi Local Government Area.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), saying the incident occurred on Wednesday, September 23.
Abiodun said the attackers stormed the two communities at about 1:30 a.m., killing four people and seriously injuring two others.

He added that the injured victims were rescued and taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
According to the police spokesperson, officers had visited the affected communities and commenced an investigation into the attack.
