GEHGEH BREAKS SILENCE OVER VIRAL WEDDING VIDEO: “I NEVER TOLD ANYONE NOT TO MARRY”

Nigerian content creator and founder of the GehGeh School of Marriage, GehGeh, has responded to criticism trailing his recent wedding to his partner, Mary.

The media reports that Gehgeh, who is currently being dragged on social media, got married in a secret ceremony on Saturday, against his teaching about marriage.

Reacting to Gehgeh’s wedding video, many Nigerians, especially his fans including some top celebrities, continue to call him out.

While many accused him of betrayal, some claimed Gehgeh destroyed their relationships with his teachings about marriage.

However, speaking amid the backlash, Gehgeh asked his followers – who have been attending his online school of marriage – if he ever told them not to get married.

He wrote on X, “I never for once told y’all not to get married. Did I? If yes show me a video of me telling you not to marry.”

Shortly after his question, fans flooded social media with videos of him vowing never to get married or keep any relationship, and describing marriage as “financial mistake and scam”.
