GLOBAL RANKINGS: 2BABA PICKS BURNA BOY OVER WIZKID AND DAVIDO

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has named Burna Boy as the top Afrobeat artiste on the global stage.
The veteran singer made the remark amid ongoing debates over the “Top 3” artistes in the Nigerian music industry.
The term “Big 3” commonly refers to Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido, who are celebrated as Nigeria’s most influential global musical exports.

During his recent appearance on the Mic On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, 2Baba stated that Burna Boy currently leads the pack globally.
“I have favourite songs from the three. But I think Burna is on a different level right now. In terms of music influence and global reach, Burna is currently at the top across the world. That said, everyone is doing fantastically well,” he said.
