JAY-JAY OKOCHA HOSTS FORMER COACH WESTERHOF IN LAGOS

Nigerian football legend Jay-Jay Okocha recently welcomed his former Super Eagles coach, Clemens Westerhof, to his home in Lagos.
Westerhof, who shared photos from the visit on Instagram on Friday, described it as an “unforgettable night of my life” and expressed gratitude to Okocha for the warm reception.
The Dutch tactician coached the Nigerian national team from 1989 to 1994. During his time in charge, the Super Eagles clinched their second Africa Cup of Nations title in 1994 and made a remarkable FIFA World Cup debut the same year, finishing top of a group featuring Argentina, Bulgaria, and Greece.
Okocha, who debuted for the national team under Westerhof, went on to become one of Nigeria’s most celebrated footballers.
