JÜRGEN KLOPP READY TO TAKE OVER AS GERMANY HEAD COACH

The German Football Federation (DFB) has confirmed it is preparing to appoint Jürgen Klopp as the next head coach of the national team following the departure of Julian Nagelsmann.
Nagelsmann stepped down after Germany’s disappointing campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which ended with a penalty shootout defeat to Paraguay. The result marked the country’s third consecutive early World Cup exit, following group-stage eliminations in Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022.
According to the DFB, Klopp has indicated his willingness to take over the role.
“The DFB leadership will now seek talks with Jürgen Klopp. He has already signaled his willingness to take on the position,” the federation said in a statement.
The 59-year-old has served as Red Bull’s Sporting Director since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2024.
