JUST IN: NIGERIA’S INFLATION HITS 29.9% AS FOOD PRICES RISE
Nigeria’s inflation rate increased to 29.9% in January, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Thursday. This was close to a 28-year high.
Consumer prices increased by 29.9% annually last month, according to reports from the NBS, up from 28.9% annually in December.
