The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has scheduled its State Congress for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, as part of ongoing party activities nationwide. The exercise will take place at the Arca Centre, Ilorin, with proceedings set to commence at 10 a.m.
According to a statement released on Sunday, accredited and qualified delegates from across the state are expected to participate. Alhaji Abdullahi Samari, Chairman of the Kwara State APC Congress Committee, urged delegates to maintain order and strictly adhere to the timetable.
“We encourage all our delegates to be prompt while the process for the state Congress holds,” Samari said, emphasizing cooperation and punctuality as key to a smooth exercise.
He further assured that the party is committed to conducting a transparent and credible congress reflecting the collective will of its members across the state.
The upcoming state congress follows the successful ward and local government congresses held last week across all 193 wards and 16 local government areas in Kwara. Party officials described the earlier exercises as peaceful and well-attended, setting a positive stage for the state-level gathering.
The event is expected to consolidate the outcomes of previous exercises and strengthen the party’s internal structure in preparation for future political activities within the state.
