LAGOS GOVT RELEASES MERIT LIST ADMISSION STATUS FOR MODEL COLLEGES / UPGRADED SECONDARY SCHOOLS

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced the release of admission status for successful candidates in the Merit List for admission into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, said that candidates who sat for the Screening Test conducted in May 2026 can now check their admission status.
According to the statement, the admission status has been uploaded on the Lagos State Examinations Board portal and will be accessible to candidates and parents from Tuesday, 22nd July 2026.
Successful candidates are advised to log on to the portal to confirm their admission status. Thereafter, they are expected to proceed to their respective schools from Monday, 31st August, 2026, for the collection of their admission letters and completion of the registration process.
The Ministry congratulated all successful candidates and urged parents and guardians to ensure that their wards complete the necessary registration procedures within the stipulated time.
The Lagos State Government remains committed to providing access to quality education and ensuring a transparent, merit-based admission process into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools.
