LATEEF ADEDIMEJI, SCARLET GOMEZ, OTHERS GATHER IN LAGOS AS ‘BLACK MARKET’ GEARS UP FOR GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

Nollywood stars Lateef Adedimeji, Scarlet Gomez, Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele D-Icon, and other cast members have gathered at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, for the premiere of ‘Black Market’, as the event gears up for a Guinness World Record attempt.

The highly anticipated movie, produced by Nora Awolowo and directed by Fatimah Binta Gimsay, is being premiered as part of an ambitious attempt to attract 50,000 people for a single film screening.

Other cast members in the movie include Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Omowunmi Dada, Teniola Aladese, Susan Ganchung Pwajok, Itele D-Icon (Ibrahim Yekini), Andrew Yaw Bunting, Kanaga Eme Jnr, Taye Arimoro, Shamz Garuba, Uzor Arukwe, Folagade Banks and Tomiwa Tegbe.

The premiere, being held with the support of the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, has attracted movie enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, creatives and other distinguished guests to the Lagos venue.

The event is part of an initiative aimed at promoting Lagos State’s creative and entertainment industry, while the planned screening is expected to serve as the setting for the Guinness World Records attempt.
