MISSING BABCOCK UNIVERSITY STUDENT FOUND AFTER PUBLIC OUTCRY BY MOTHER
The mother of Oladipupo Siwajuola, a student at Babcock University in Ilishan Remo, Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo, who requested public aid on Saturday, has declared that her son has been located.
On Saturday, Omotayo revealed his identity in a Facebook post.
“My son has been found,” she declared.
Dr Joshua Suleiman, the university’s director of marketing and communications, also said on Sunday that the positive news had reached the institution.
“Yes, we are aware,” Dr. Suleiman replied in a succinct WhatsApp message when asked to verify the Facebook post announcing Siwajuola’s location.
However, details regarding how and where the student was found remain sketchy as of the time of filling this report.
Omotayo, crying profusely during a live Facebook video on Saturday, had called on members of the public as well as the security agencies to help locate her son.
She stated that she dropped off her son at the school on the evening of Sunday, April 27, 2025.
She said, “The members of the public should please help tell Babcock University to produce my son. I dropped him off at the school by myself on Sunday evening, but for the past three day, I have not been able to sleep as I cannot find my son.”
