Turkcell Women’s Super League champions Fenerbahçe have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Suliat Abideen, the Media reports.
Abideen joins the Turkish champions from league rivals ABB Fomget after signing a contract that will keep her at the club until the end of the season.
The move sees the 24-year-old link up with fellow Nigerians Regina Otu and Flourish Sabastine, taking the number of Nigerian players in Fenerbahçe’s women’s team to three.
Fenerbahçe will be Abideen’s second European club following her spell with ABB Fomget.
The midfielder rose to prominence after playing a pivotal role in Edo Queens’ triumph in the 2024 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), where she was also named the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season.
