OFFICIAL: NICO WILLIAMS SIGNS NEW CONTRACT WITH ATHLETIC CLUB UNTIL 2035

Athletic Club has officially announced that star winger Nico Williams has extended his contract with the Basque club until June 30, 2035, in a landmark deal that further strengthens the team’s long-term project.

The 21-year-old Spanish international, who has become one of Europe’s most exciting young talents, was previously contracted until 2027. The new agreement adds eight more seasons to his deal, with a significant increase in his release clause—reportedly rising by over 50% compared to the previous terms.

In a heartfelt message accompanying the club’s announcement video, Nico declared:

“When it comes to making decisions, for me, what weighs most is the heart. I’m where I want to be, with my people this is my home. Aupa Athletic!”
