OSINBAJO, FASHOLA, FAYEMI, OTHERS ATTEND BURIAL SERVICE FOR KEMI ADEOSUN’S HUSBAND

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and other prominent Nigerians on Thursday attended a funeral service held in honour of Anthony Adeosun, husband of the former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun.
The service was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Anthony, a businessman, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 62, according to a statement issued by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.
Described by the family as a devoted Christian who made a positive impact on the lives of those around him, the deceased was survived by his wife, Kemi, children and siblings, including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital.

Among the dignitaries who attended the service were Osinbajo and his wife; former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola; former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi; Florence Ajimobi, wife of the late Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi; former President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina; and the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, Dr Zacch Adedeji.

Other political and business figures also attended the service to pay their last respects to the deceased.

Following the conclusion of the church service, the family proceeded with the private burial of Anthony Adeosun.
