OSUN DECIDES: VOTERS TURN OUT AT OYEBAMIJI’S POLLING UNIT IN IKIRE

Voters have turned out in large numbers at Ward 09, Unit 011, Ikire, where the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, is expected to cast his ballot in Saturday’s Osun governorship election.
The polling unit recorded an orderly turnout of voters, with some residents describing the voting process as peaceful and hitch-free.
Some voters expressed confidence that their votes would count and determine the outcome of the election.
The youthful voters were seen queuing orderly as they waited to exercise their franchise, while elderly voters were allowed to sit and were given priority during the voting process.
The development comes amid heightened security arrangements across Osun State as voters elect the next governor of the state.
Oyebamiji, the APC candidate, is one of the major contenders in the governorship election, alongside incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party and candidates of other political parties.
