OSUN ELECTION: DAVIDO REACTS AS AKPABIO, OVER 10 APC GOVERNORS ARRIVE OSOGBO

Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the arrival of top All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda and more than 10 governors elected on the party’s platform are in the state for the party’s mega campaign rally.
The APC leaders have expressed their determination to secure victory for the party in Saturday’s poll.
Among the governors who arrived in Osogbo on Wednesday night were Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
Meanwhile, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, welcomed the APC leaders to the state in a post on his official X account.
Davido, who is an uncle to the incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, later shared Oyetola’s post while dismissing the APC’s chances of winning the election.
The singer suggested that the presence of the APC leaders would not change the outcome of the election, maintaining that his uncle’s party would emerge victorious.
He wrote, “If you like gather Jesus 12 disciples o ma LULE for the 3rd time.”
Adeleke, who is seeking re-election, is contesting the election under the Accord Party.
