Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Moses Alake Adeyemo, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is committed to reclaiming the state in 2027.

Adeyemo, who served alongside the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi between 2011 and 2019, made the statement during his inauguration as Chairman of the party on Friday.

The media reports that Adeyemo, along with 35 other party officials, was elected on Tuesday at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.

Following his inauguration, Adeyemo affirmed that party members are united in supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He described his emergence as chairman as a renewed call to service and pledged that he and his colleagues would strengthen the party.

He further emphasized that the current atmosphere of peace and unity within the party would be maintained before, during, and after the next primaries.

“It is a new dawn for Oyo APC. I am confident that the spirit of peace and togetherness will endure as we focus on our goals of securing 90 percent of votes for President Bola Tinubu and reclaiming Agodi Government House in 2027,” he said.
