PDP UNVEILS SUB-COMMITTEES FOR NOVEMBER NATIONAL CONVENTION IN IBADAN

The Peoples Democratic Party has formally disclosed the identities of its members assigned to various sub-committees responsible for organizing the 2025 Elective National Convention, set to take place on November 15 to 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

This declaration was communicated through a post published on the party’s official X account on Monday.

The post read, “The National Convention Organizing Committee on behalf of the National Executive Committee of our Great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party formally releases the list of Members of the various approved Sub-Committees for the Year 2025 Elective National Convention of our Party for the purpose of electing New National Officers, scheduled to hold in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital on Saturday, 15th – Sunday, 16th of November, 2025.”

The lists received approval from the NCOC Chairman and the Governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri.

It encompasses over 100 sub-committee members across areas such as accreditation, security, and electoral procedures.

The sub-committees are led by notable individuals, including governors, senators, and party veterans.

The Accommodation Committee is presided over by Governor Ademola Adeleke, with Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo serving as the deputy chairman and Alhaji Gamboa Gade acting as secretary.

The Electoral sub-committee is headed by NCOC Chairman Fintiri, with Adeleke as deputy and Dr. Okereke Ipeazu fulfilling the role of secretary.

In the realm of Entertainment and Welfare, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan leads the panel, supported by Hajiya Hassana Dikro (deputy) and Mrs. Amina Darasimi (secretary).

The Medical sub-committee is directed by Former Senate President Bukola Saraki, with Jumoke Akinjide as the deputy and Dr. Josephine Ugeh as secretary.

For Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr. Agbo Emmanuel is at the helm, assisted by Senator Tajudeen Abbas as deputy and Dr. Edward Aje as secretary.

Governor Caleb Muftwang oversees the Protocol sub-committee, with Senator Olaleke Chewunmi as deputy and Tolbin Godwin as secretary.

The publicity team is led by Governor Bala Mohammed, alongside Lady Ime Udom as deputy and Lucky Igbinedion as secretary.

The Security sub-committee is directed by Governor Kefas Agbu, with Senator Austin Akobundu (Rtd) as deputy and Alh. Yerima Hussaini as secretary.

In the Transportation sector, Governor Seyi Makinde chairs the panel, with Senator Sunday Marshall Katung as deputy and Hon. Dr. Adebayo Adepoju serving as secretary.

The Venue sub-committee is led by Adebayo Lawal (Director-General, Oyo), with Honourable Laurentia Mallam as deputy and Honourable Scholastica Kanebi as secretary.
