Authorities have refuted allegations that students were abducted from St. Peters’ Foundation Secondary School in Nasarawa State.

During a voice call arranged by Nasarawa Police Public Relations Officer Ramhel Nansel on Friday, November 21, school proprietor Peters Ezegwoya dismissed the reports circulating on social media as false.

In the conversation, which Nansel shared with TVC News Digital, Ezegwoya clarified that students heading to the school field for Physical and Health Education spotted armed hunters. Teachers then escorted the students back to the school compound for safety.

He stated: “This is a rumor. The students were on the school field for their Physical and Health Education practical when one student raised a false alarm. After teachers sent the students back to their classrooms, they continued spreading the unfounded rumor about a kidnapping on school grounds. It is entirely false.“
