POLICE PROBE DISAPPEARANCE OF 19-YEAR-OLD WOMAN IN EKITI

The Ekiti State Police Command has launched an investigation into the disappearance of a 19-year-old woman, Dandam Happiness, who has been missing since August 10, 2026.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, disclosed this in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
According to Abutu, Happiness left her residence in Ado Ekiti at about 4pm on August 10 and headed to an unknown destination but has yet to return.
He said efforts by the woman’s relatives and friends to locate her had so far proved unsuccessful.
The police described Happiness as approximately 4.5 feet tall, fair-complexioned, without tribal marks, and fluent in English.
Abutu said the command had commenced investigations to establish her whereabouts and facilitate her safe return.
He urged anyone with information that could assist in locating the missing woman to report to the nearest police station or contact the command on +2349064050086.
The police also appealed to members of the public to circulate the information widely to support efforts by the command, family and friends to find Happiness.
