SENSITIVE ELECTION MATERIALS FOR GOVERNORSHIP POLL ARRIVE ONDO

Akure, the state capital, has received sensitive documents for the Ondo State governorship election.
The date of the election is set for Saturday, November 16, 2024.
According to a statement published on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) official X page on Monday, officials from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have received items that were brought by the Nigerian Air Force.
The message read: “Breaking News! Sensitive materials for the Ondo State governorship election, scheduled for Saturday, 16th November 2024, have arrived in Akure, the state capital, and have been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria. The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigerian Air Force.”
