SHOOTING STARS PART WAYS WITH COACH AWERORO, TWO OTHERS

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have mutually agreed to terminate the contracts of Head Coach Nurudeen Aweroro, Team Manager Tammy Tamuno and Assistant Coach Shakiru Lawal with immediate effect.

The club announced the decision following discussions with the affected members of the technical team, noting that both parties agreed to part ways amicably.

Shooting Stars expressed appreciation to Aweroro, Tamuno and Lawal for their commitment, professionalism and contributions during their respective spells with the club.

The club particularly commended the trio for their roles in helping Shooting Stars finish third in the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season and secure a continental ticket.

The club thanked the departing officials for their services and wished them success in their future endeavours and careers.

In the interim, the remaining assistant coaches have been directed to oversee the affairs of the Technical Department pending the appointment and announcement of a substantive head coach.

Shooting Stars said further developments would be communicated in due course.
