Nigerian singer Terry G has finally broken his silence on allegations that he hijacked the hit song Pass Me Your Love from his colleague and collaborator, AY.Com.

As previously reported by the media, Terry G had come under criticism for repeatedly performing the track—on which he was featured—during his live shows. Critics accused him of overshadowing AY.Com and claiming undue ownership of the song.

In a recent post on his X handle, Terry G addressed the long-standing allegations, describing them as “pure ignorance.” He emphasized that, as a featured artist, he is fully entitled to perform the song.
