TIWA SAVAGE REVEALS SHE FROZE HER EGGS IN CASE SHE WANTS MORE CHILDREN IN THE FUTURE

Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has revealed that she made the decision to freeze her eggs.
The singer, who is a mother of one, explained that she took the step in case she chooses to have more children in the future.
In a candid conversation with Zeze Mills, the 42-year-old admitted she wished she had undergone the procedure earlier.
Tiwa Savage has encouraged women in their 30s to consider freezing their eggs as a way to take control of their fertility and plan for the future.
Reflecting on her own experience, the singer said, “Having my first child in my 30s was a beautiful experience because I was more financially and emotionally stable. One piece of advice I’d give to women in their 30s—whether or not you plan to have children—is to freeze your eggs.”
She continued, “I wish I had done it earlier, but I’ve done it now. I’m not sure if I want more kids, but just in case, I’ve taken that step it’s like having an insurance policy.
We may be born with a fixed number of eggs, and you might wake up at 36 to find your egg reserve is depleted right when you decide you want children. So now, I strongly advocate for egg freezing.”
Hotjist recalls that Tiwa Savage welcomed her first child at age 34 with her then-husband, Teebillz, on July 22, 2015.
